We’ve structured our business so we can do our best work on every project. As our client, you deserve nothing less. If we don’t believe that we can give you our best, we won’t accept your project.
So many companies focus on getting bigger: more clients, more employees, bigger offices. For us, small is as big as we want to be. Being small, and staying small, allows us to focus on our work and our clients rather than on distractions like overhead and advertising.
Web sites — like magazines, brochures, and books — are publications. They require time, attention, planning, and skill — not just to launch them, but to make them successful in the long term.
A lot of people think the mark of a good Web site is how pretty it is or whether it uses the latest technologies. We think good Web sites are the ones that create positive experiences for the people who use them.
We love what we do. Whether we get paid a lot or a little for it doesn’t matter nearly as much as whether we enjoy our work. So Gardner Loop is structured to let us focus on doing great work for great clients. We stay small, work with people we trust, and build relationships with our clients.
The Web is not just for people with flawless eyesight and perfect dexterity. The differently-abled are a part of every audience and are not to be treated like second-class citizens online.
We’d love to work with you, not for you. Working with means collaboration, open communication, saying no sometimes, listening with an open mind, trying something new. Working for means doing what you’re told.

We’d rather trust you by default than spend time trying to think up elaborate schemes to keep an occasional jerk from stiffing us on a bill. After all, if you’re reading this, it’s because someone we already trust told you about us. If someone we trust trusts you, that’s good enough for us.
Hand-made is almost always the best option when it comes to things of value. We write every bit of code by hand because craft matters. Dreamweaver and other WYSIWYG editors are fine for amateurs. But we aren’t amateurs.
We really enjoy our work. But we also want to spend time with our families and enjoy other activities. We do our best to work without wasting your time and money or ours.
